Dutch Sales Team Leader - Online Advertising (Barcelona)

About the role

Cross Border Talents is recruiting a Dutch Sales Team Leader in Barcelona to lead a team of specialized executives responsible for commercial growth within their business unit. The client is a world leader in online advertising, including search engine advertising (SEA) and its Ads products. The team leader works with other team leaders to expand services while keeping KPIs in mind, prepares forecasts, develops new opportunities with existing clients and turns data into concrete actions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the sales teams working towards team KPIs and sales targets
• Prepare term plans and forecasts, and look for new developments and opportunities
• Delegate tasks and set deadlines, and oversee day-to-day operations
• Monitor team performance and report metrics to outstanding results
• Identify training needs, coach the team and listen to feedback to resolve issues
• Award high performers and develop strategies to align team members with company regulations and performance goals

Required profile

• Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent practical experience
• Proven managerial experience in a sales environment
• At least 1 year of experience in advertising sales
• Extensive experience in integrated marketing communication or media sales
• Knowledge of products such as Ads, AdSense and YouTube
• Native Dutch speaker; fluent spoken and written English

What we offer

• Full-time position (39 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
• Salary of 35,000 EUR per year plus a 5,000 EUR annual bonus
