EME System Engineer

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an EME System Engineer to join the TADYX1 team in Getafe, Madrid. The role involves managing electromagnetic protection for aircraft structures, systems and antenna integration across military programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement electromagnetic protection measures for aircraft structures and equipment.
• Support the full development V‑cycle from requirement capture to certification, delivery and in‑service support.
• Perform electromagnetic simulations and modelling using advanced tools.

Required profile

• Degree in Telecommunication, Aeronautical, Electrical Engineering or Physics.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with strong electromagnetism background.
• Experience with platform‑level integration, validation, verification and certification.

Required skills

• Electromagnetic simulation tools such as CST and FEKO.
• CAD management and post‑processing tools.
• Programming in C# and proficiency with CATIA and Matlab.
