EMEA HR Operations Manager

About the role

A leading chemical company is looking for an experienced HR Operations & Employee Services Manager to oversee daily HR service delivery across the EMEA region. The role combines leadership, process optimisation and employee experience to drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing HR Services team, setting goals and fostering a collaborative, customer‑centric culture.
• Oversee daily HR service operations, manage employee inquiries across email, phone and ticketing systems, and ensure timely, accurate support.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives, working with HRIS and IT teams.
• Maintain high employee satisfaction by delivering exceptional HR services and supporting employee concerns with empathy.
• Track and analyse service metrics, prepare performance reports for senior leadership, and use data to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements and best practices, mitigating risk.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and cross‑functional teams, representing HR Services in organisational projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies and employee relations.
• Experience with HR service delivery models and HRIS platforms.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities and solve complex problems.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
