EMEA Regional HR Director

About the role

The EMEA Regional HR Director will join the HR and Operations leadership teams as a trusted advisor and coach. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the role oversees HR strategy, talent attraction, retention and engagement for roughly 9,000 employees across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the HR strategy and design the regional HR operating model.
• Support Workday adoption and integration with payroll systems, driving HR process standardisation and digital transformation.
• Strengthen talent pipelines and succession planning for critical regional positions.
• Modernise HR processes across workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, organisational design, employee and industrial relations, diversity & inclusion and compliance.
• Act as a strategic business partner to regional leadership, aligning people priorities with business objectives.
• Provide guidance on complex employee and industrial relations matters, including investigations, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, harassment, human rights, terminations, union relationships and works councils.
• Collaborate with global HR leadership to develop and implement global policies, procedures and programmes.
• Drive continuous improvement of HR practices and operational efficiencies.
• Lead, coach and develop regional HR teams, fostering capability and high performance.

Required profile

• Senior HR leader with extensive experience managing HR functions across multiple EMEA countries.
• Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor on complex and sensitive people matters.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including interaction with executive leadership, board members and external partners such as works councils, unions and regulators.
• Demonstrated track record of leading digital HR transformation initiatives.
