Engineering Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton Abama Resort in Tenerife is seeking an Engineering Maintenance Technician to ensure all resort facilities, equipment, and systems operate flawlessly. You will work behind the scenes to support an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise guest disruption.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance materials in good condition.
• Record all maintenance activities in the appropriate documentation systems.
• Support continuous‑improvement projects aimed at operational and energy efficiency.
• Respond quickly to urgent maintenance requests.

Required profile

• Technical education in maintenance, engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in general maintenance, preferably in hospitality or large‑scale facilities.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and proactive mindset.
