Equity Research VP – Multisector

About the role

Join Santander Corporate & Investment Banking as an Equity Research VP covering European companies across multiple sectors. You will identify high‑return opportunities and deliver actionable investment ideas to institutional investors.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse sector trends and macro‑economic drivers.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models for companies under coverage.
• Produce original, well‑structured research reports and investment recommendations.
• Develop and sustain long‑term relationships with investors and corporate management.
• Work efficiently under pressure to meet tight market deadlines.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of experience as an equity analyst or in a similar research role.
• Graduate degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) – the working language.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Team‑oriented, personable and able to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet and other market data platforms.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven analytical tools.
