Event Marketing Specialist - Large Format Print EMEA

About the role

HP is looking for an Event Marketing Specialist for its Large Format Print EMEA business, based in Sant Cugat del Valles. The role covers the planning, execution and optimisation of tradeshows, face-to-face events and webinars, while also acting as an internal event consultant. Its main aim is to create demand and capture it, supporting brand awareness, growth and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Tradeshows: oversee end-to-end execution, including budget ownership, vendor management, branding, booth creative and messaging, logistics, staffing, lead management and post-event follow-up.
• Webinars: build a webinar calendar, coordinate content with subject matter experts, handle marketing communications, content assets, technical setup and hosting.
• Event consulting: advise business units on event strategy, audience targeting, messaging and measurement.
• Demand creation and capture: partner with sales and marketing to turn interest into opportunities.
• Collaborate with product marketing, sales, digital marketing and executive leadership.
• Set KPIs, track performance and report results to stakeholders.
• Manage event budgets and negotiate with vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in event marketing, tradeshow management or a related role.
• Proven ability to run multiple events at once, in person and online.
• Strong project management, organisation and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems is a plus.
• Analytical approach to interpreting data and improving event strategies.
