Global Category Manager, PS Support Services

About the role

This is an EMEA Category Manager position within the HP Solutions Global Category organization, based in Sant Cugat del Valles. The role enables the new Support Services business, develops it to meet the objectives of the HPS business and supports customers and partners. It also contributes to creative initiatives that accelerate growth and analyses business performance to find areas for improvement. The role represents support services internally with the GBU and cross-functional teams, and externally to markets and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in developing and securing approval of global go-to-market plans and budgets for Support Services offerings
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and agencies on introduction plans
• Help define program metrics, goals and benchmarks, and set up tracking and reporting
• Develop closed-loop post-analysis for business programs and execute the indicated actions
• Contribute to customer segmentation strategies tailored to different customer segments
• Perform global marketing operations such as collateral fulfillment, and help sales teams build training materials
• Join customer and reseller account calls to strengthen relationships and drive sales
• Lead complex projects and exercise independent judgment in resolving business issues and setting policies

Required profile

• Four-year or graduate degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field, or commensurate experience
• Typically 7-10 years of experience, preferably in product marketing, product design or a related field
