Field Applications Specialist

About the role

Arrow's Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) business is a global technology enablement company that delivers value-added distribution, business consulting and channel enablement services to technology manufacturers and their channel partners serving commercial and government markets. It is looking for a Field Applications Specialist to join its team in Madrid and support customers through the design and implementation of technology solutions. The role acts as a technical advisor, working with customers, suppliers and internal sales teams, and welcomes junior profiles.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and application support to customers for assigned products and technologies.
• Understand customer requirements and propose appropriate design solutions.
• Support and manage design-win activities with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Work with sales teams to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Take part in customer projects across the whole design cycle, from concept to implementation.
• Build relationships with suppliers and stay up to date on new technologies and product developments.
• Prepare technical reports and keep accurate project and opportunity records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Technical, pre-sales background in Electronics, Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or a related field.
• Interest in technology and customer-facing technical roles.
• Fluency in Spanish; English is nice to have.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, and ability to work with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
