Finance Internship – Ibiza

About the role

Mondrian Ibiza and Hyde Ibiza, two lifestyle hotel brands operated by Ennismore in collaboration with Grupo Azul Mar Cala Llonga, are looking for a finance intern in Ibiza. The internship covers daily accounting, reporting, budget support and audit assistance within the hotel's finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting tasks such as invoice processing, payment tracking and account reconciliation.
• Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
• Help manage the hotel's budget, including monitoring expenses and spotting cost-saving opportunities.
• Take part in forecasting and financial planning, and analyse financial data to give insights on performance, costs and profitability.
• Collaborate with other departments so that financial documentation is correct and budgets are respected.
• Assist with audits by keeping financial records in order and compliant with internal and external requirements.
• Support the team in managing supplier payments and contracts, and attend training sessions on hotel finance and accounting.

Required profile

• EU nationality is required.
• Fluent English and Spanish; other languages are a plus.
• Currently studying or recently graduated in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Good organisational skills, teamwork and communication, and ability to keep confidential financial information secure.
• Flexibility in a dynamic environment; previous finance or accounting experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
