Finance Manager – Accounting & Consolidation

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead Accounting & Consolidation for our legal entities in Italy, Portugal, Spain and Poland. Based in Barcelona, you will oversee month‑end closing, audit coordination and performance analysis while managing a team of accountants.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise month‑end closing for Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Polish entities.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
• Lead and develop a team of 4‑6 accountants across local and international markets.
• Coordinate external auditors and guarantee audit deadlines are met.
• Review and approve monthly reconciliations for both balance sheet and P&L.
• Maintain compliance with local tax legislation and internal accounting policies.
• Adopt and enforce accounting procedures in line with prevailing regulations.
• Identify and drive process improvements in collaboration with the Accounting PMO.
• Participate in ERP implementations and other finance projects.
• Prepare ad‑hoc analysis to explain P&L variances versus the Business Plan.
• Adapt quickly to changes in company policy, tax regulations and legislation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of accounting experience in multinational companies.
• Proven people‑management experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP/IFRS and month‑end/year‑end processes.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with SAP S4/HANA and OneStream is a plus.
• ERP migration and project‑management experience are advantageous.
