Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join bsport’s fast‑growing finance team in Barcelona. You will report to the Head of Finance and work cross‑functionally to own accounting, controlling and cash‑flow processes while supporting our international expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual closings across all entities and lead the annual audit process.
• Own balance‑sheet reviews, reconciliations, tax compliance and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Manage budget versus actuals reporting, financial modelling, forecasting and lead monthly budget reviews with department heads.
• Identify and implement process automation opportunities, leveraging AI to reduce manual work.
• Oversee the Procure‑to‑Pay cycle, invoice approvals, vendor contract reviews and spend optimisation.
• Maintain rolling cash forecasts, monitor liquidity and proactively flag cash‑flow risks.

Required profile

• 2‑6 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in audit (Big 4 or equivalent).
• Strong accounting fundamentals with hands‑on experience in month‑end closings, financial statements and external audits.
• Startup or scale‑up experience is a plus.
• Excellent analytical rigor and ability to work autonomously.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets.
