Financial Analyst – Card Payments & Settlement

About the role

Colibrix One builds AI-powered payment technologies for PSPs, EMIs and neobanks across the EU and the UK, and is looking for a Financial Analyst to support its daily operations on card payments and settlement. The role suits an early- to mid-level specialist with a basic understanding of fintech financial operations who wants to deepen their expertise. You will work with Mastercard and Visa data, analyse fees and profitability, and help keep financial and settlement processes running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations for acquiring and issuing on Mastercard and Visa
• Perform regular reconciliations between internal systems and Mastercard/Visa settlement reports
• Monitor and manage daily and periodic settlement processes with card schemes
• Analyse interchange and scheme fees in detail
• Assist in evaluating new partnerships, scheme changes or pricing adjustments
• Work with other PSPs on financial coordination, data exchange and performance tracking
• Analyse the profitability of individual acquiring partners, identify trends and performance gaps, and suggest optimisation opportunities

Required profile

• Experience as a Financial Analyst in a fintech company or a bank
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Russian
• Proactive, responsible attitude with attention to detail in daily financial tasks
• Nice to have: finance/economics degree, basic knowledge of Mastercard and Visa, experience with PSPs or financial partners, and experience with Excel macros or spreadsheet automation
