Financial Analyst - Services Division

About the role

Sulzer is looking for a Financial Analyst to join its Finance team within the Division Services. You will support the Division FP&A manager and regional controllers with financial analysis. The office is located in Nuevos Ministerios.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, complete and timely financial information for business management and decision making.
• Develop new reports in Tagetik and drive BI tool solutions (QlikSense and SharePoint) to automate processes.
• Carry out month-end closing, including analysis of actuals versus budget and prior-month forecast.
• Submit legal entity reporting packages on time and support entities with reporting issues.
• Act as the division point of contact for reporting in Tagetik and train legal entities worldwide.
• Handle ad-hoc reporting requests, contribute to the monthly MIS presentation and monitor HQ cost centres and CAPEX spending.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash forecasting.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, specialising in Accounting, Finance or Controlling.
• Three years of experience in financial analysis or controlling, preferably in corporate finance.
• Analytical, proactive and able to prioritise tasks and processes; flexible team player.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Tagetik, including report building.
• Advanced financial modelling in Excel and strong PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with SAP (FI/CO modules) and business application tools.
