Financial & Industrial Controller

About the role

Honest Greens is seeking a Financial & Industrial Controller to join its Support Center in Barcelona. The role combines strategic financial partnership with hands‑on industrial controlling to support the company’s rapid expansion across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic business partner, delivering accurate and timely financial information to all departments.
• Analyse and control food and production costs, monitor wastage, shrinkage and yield, and perform variance analysis on raw materials and production.
• Oversee stock valuation and reconciliations for restaurants and the central warehouse, ensuring inventory system accuracy and developing tools to improve stock rotation and forecasting.
• Define, analyse and control the annual budget (P&L, cash flow, Capex), consolidate monthly group reporting, prepare management reports and support audit compliance.
• Develop operational KPIs, propose and implement new systems to automate processes, and provide financial analysis for strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, budgeting, P&L and Capex analysis.
• Strong background in industrial controlling, preferably within retail or hospitality.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; French and knowledge of French/UK financial and labour laws are a plus.

Required skills

• PowerBI or similar business‑intelligence tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (expert level).
