Financial Systems Internship – #DISCOVER II 2026/2027

About the role

Join Airbus for an 11‑month, full‑time Financial Systems Internship as part of the #DISCOVER II 2026/2027 graduate program. You will work in Madrid, collaborating with finance and IT teams to improve financial processes and systems while earning a study grant.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in analysing financial data to identify root causes and propose system improvements.
• Support project planning, task management, documentation and coordination with external suppliers.
• Interact with internal finance clients to gather requirements and translate them into actionable projects.
• Collaborate with IT departments to integrate financial systems (SAP) with ERP and other business solutions.
• Participate in national and international digital‑solution projects, such as cost‑automation initiatives.
• Utilise SAP R3, S/4 HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud and related tools to achieve project goals.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field; double degrees in Computer Science and Business are a plus.
• Specialisation in AI or knowledge of machine learning is highly valued.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Team spirit and ability to work in complex, international environments.
