IT Operations Specialist – Spain

About the role

The IT Operations Specialist for Spain will be the primary IT contact for all Testia sites in the country, linking local business needs with the transnational IT teams. You will support both internal Testia IT requirements and external customer systems, ensuring global strategies are implemented locally.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main IT point of contact for all national sites, managing relationships with local management and end‑users.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of local IT assets – procurement, deployment, inventory, maintenance and disposal.
• Provide on‑site Level 2‑3 support, including smart‑hands assistance for network and server equipment.
• Coordinate onboarding/off‑boarding processes and ensure physical installations remain operational.
• Manage local vendors, service contracts and budgets for ISP, mobile, printers, etc.
• Collaborate with transnational heads of Infrastructure, Applications and Cybersecurity to deploy global initiatives locally.
• Support the Cyber Security Officer by enforcing security policies and assisting in incident response.
• Partner with the Managing Director and business leaders to align IT services with operational needs.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of higher education in IT, systems or network administration (or a Master’s/engineering degree).
• Initial experience in Windows and Linux environments, with exposure to scripting or development.
• Full professional fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Strong customer‑service mindset, proactive attitude and ability to work autonomously.

Required skills

• Active Directory and Windows administration.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi‑Fi).
• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and ticketing tools.
• Proficiency with client‑side VPN solutions (e.g., Cisco AnyConnect).
• Knowledge of databases and their administration.
• Familiarity with web languages and scripting (PHP, JavaScript, Python).
