Flight Line & Maintenance Engineer (Temp Agency)

About the role

Airbus Defence & Space is seeking a Flight Line & Maintenance Engineer to join its Flight Line Centre in Getafe, Madrid. The role operates on a double‑shift basis and focuses on delivering and maintaining A330 MRTT aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Implement delivery, base and line maintenance activities for A330 MRTT aircraft.
• Lead a multifunctional team covering production, quality, engineering, planning, supply chain and more.
• Coordinate with internal and external organisations, including subcontractors.
• Ensure safety, security and compliance with airworthiness directives and service bulletins.
• Plan and execute short‑ and mid‑term maintenance schedules.
• Monitor KPIs, drive continuous improvement and manage operational risks.
• Maintain quality, health‑and‑safety, FOD control and housekeeping standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2‑5 years of experience in aircraft operations, team management and maintenance.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing, engineering and business processes.
• Experience with A330 MRTT conversion, delivery and line/base maintenance.
