Food & Beverage Operational Intern

About the role

SLS Barcelona, a five-star urban resort on Barcelona's waterfront, is looking for a Food & Beverage operational intern to join its team under the guidance of the Head of F&B. The intern serves guests' dishes and creative cocktails and helps find new ways to improve service and surprise guests.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and by name, escort them to their table, provide chair assistance and present menus.
• Ask guests for the information needed to arrange seats and create a relaxed atmosphere.
• Serve food and beverage orders according to recipes and service standards.
• Be knowledgeable about the products available.
• Work with the team to keep table and bar service smooth and tidy.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's programme in Hospitality or a related field.
• Able to sign an agreement with your school for a period of preferably 6 months.
• Availability to start as soon as possible.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
