Forensics Solutions Activation Leader - Associate Director
EY · Madrid
Job description
About the role
EY is looking for a commercially minded, market-facing Associate Director to drive the growth and adoption of its digitally enabled and AI-enhanced forensic solutions across Europe, with extension into APAC. The role is primarily commercial and go-to-market: partnering with country and regional Forensics teams to move from traditional, manual delivery to technology-led ways of serving clients and unlocking new revenue. It is based in European hubs with a hybrid model, and travel of 30-50%.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the European (and APAC) growth strategy for the forensic solutions portfolio, identify market opportunities and regulatory trends, and build go-to-market approaches with Regional and Country leaders.
- Develop playbooks, propositions, case studies and market materials, and track market performance and pipeline.
- Catalyse the shift from manual to technology-led delivery and act as a trusted commercial advisor to country leaders.
- Support strategic pursuits and complex proposals across Integrity & Compliance, investigations, monitoring, forensic data analytics, eDiscovery, third-party and regulatory risk and AI-enabled solutions.
- Represent the firm at client forums and industry events, deliver presentations and demos, and build market insights and thought leadership.
- Build relationships with Regional and Country leaders and influence senior stakeholders across geographies.
Required profile
- Demonstrated success commercialising services and driving revenue growth in a professional services environment, ideally new or technology-enabled offerings.
- Proven ability to drive change across distributed, matrixed teams.
- Strong client network and market-facing relationships.
- 10-15 years' experience in Forensics, Compliance, Regulatory Risk, Financial Crime, Investigations or related services.
- Preferred: experience across European and APAC markets, knowledge of Integrity & Compliance disciplines, awareness of advanced analytics and AI in forensics, and multilingual capabilities (English plus another major European language).
Required skills
- Sufficient fluency in forensic technology and AI to speak credibly and connect capability to client value; deep hands-on technical expertise is not required.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and executive-level communication skills.
