Forward Deployed Engineer - Voice (Iberia)

About the role

Salesforce is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer focused on Voice for its Iberia team in Madrid. This hands-on role works directly with customers to design, build and deploy AI-powered voice experiences in production, using Agentforce Voice, Service Cloud Voice and contact center telephony integrations. You own the full delivery cycle, from discovery and solution design to configuration, testing and go-live, and act as a bridge between customers and the Voice Product team.

Key responsibilities

• Design agent intelligence: prompts, reasoning, tool calls and integration with customer systems, using the Agentic AI platform and current LLM techniques.
• Own technical components end-to-end, from architecture choice to deployed, validated and observable systems in production.
• Build and integrate data pipelines on Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks and customer data platforms, and model and validate the data.
• Build and maintain agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting to track deployment health and business outcomes.
• Contribute to proofs-of-concept and MVPs, and co-build with customers and partners while enabling their teams.
• Share platform gaps, edge cases and field insights with senior engineers and the product team, and partner with the Deployment Strategist to turn customer challenges into shippable solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, ideally in an AI tech stack, full-stack development or with frontier models.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience (consulting, professional services or forward deployed engineering).
• Fluent in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java or Apex, and willing to expand the list.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering, and ability to explain why a prompt fails.
• Willingness to travel about 25% of the time and work directly alongside customers.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of data modelling, APIs and integration patterns.
• Ability to hold your own with sales teams and customer architects.
• Quality code and rigorous evaluation of AI outputs.
• Nice to have: Salesforce platform experience or certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer I, Agentforce Specialist), familiarity with LangChain and LlamaIndex, and hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks and BigQuery.
