French‑Speaking Sales Development Representative

About the role

Lightspeed is looking for a motivated French‑speaking Sales Development Representative to join its fast‑growing sales team in Spain. You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, helping to generate and qualify leads that drive revenue for the company’s retail and restaurant technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep knowledge of the hospitality industry, including trends and competitor activity.
• Qualify inbound leads from marketing sources (webinars, trials, demo requests) via phone and email.
• Conduct discovery calls to uncover business needs and assess fit using frameworks such as BANT.
• Book meetings and product demos for Account Executives, ensuring a smooth handover.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM, tracking interactions, pipeline activity, and lead status.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams, sharing market feedback and contributing to strategy.
• Support sales and marketing initiatives aimed at increasing Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR).

Required profile

• Fluency in French (spoken and written).
• Experience in a sales or call‑centre environment with a proven record of meeting targets.
• Strong understanding of sales development best practices, including lead qualification and pipeline management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proactive, problem‑solving attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and adapt to a fast‑changing environment.
