Front Desk Agent – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Front Desk Agent will be the first point of contact for guests at The Ritz‑Carlton Tenerife, Abama, delivering the brand’s Gold Standards of hospitality. In this full‑time position you will create memorable first impressions, assist with arrivals and departures, and ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally, adhering to brand guidelines.
• Manage check‑in and check‑out processes efficiently and accurately.
• Provide detailed information about resort facilities, services, and experiences.
• Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations using the hotel’s internal system.
• Process payments, billing, and account closures in line with established procedures.
• Address guest requests, preferences, and complaints with empathy and a solution‑oriented approach.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill special requirements and ensure seamless service.
• Promote hotel amenities and identify opportunities for up‑selling and cross‑selling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front‑desk environment that reflects luxury standards.
• Uphold confidentiality, safety, and data‑protection policies at all times.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Previous experience in hotel front‑desk operations or high‑level customer service, preferably in a luxury setting.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to multitask under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
