Front Office Receptionist – Mallorca

About the role

Aethos Mallorca is looking for a friendly and professional Front Office Receptionist to join its seaside hotel. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out processes while supporting the Front Office Manager in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, verify payments, and update guest profiles during check‑in and check‑out.
• Handle reservations received online or by phone and manage room assignments.
• Answer phone calls, coordinate with other departments, and process cash and banking transactions.
• Support the Front Office Manager in maximizing occupancy through upselling techniques.
• Guide and supervise other reception staff to maintain efficient front desk operations.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.
• Arrange transport and additional guest services as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with hotel policies.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer‑focused role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in team management and delegation.
• Strong time‑management and organisational abilities.
