Frontend QA Engineering Intern

About the role

Bitpanda, a cryptocurrency and investment platform founded in 2014, is looking for a Frontend QA Engineering Intern in Barcelona. You will work alongside experienced QA engineers and developers to test new features, find issues and ensure a good user experience from the UI level, focusing on frontend testing in projects such as operational workflows, AI integrations and low-code automation tools.

Key responsibilities

• Execute frontend testing, validating end-to-end user journeys, AI integrations and automated business processes
• Work with developers, Business Analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements, write test cases, spot quality risks early and support UAT cycles
• Design, run and maintain frontend test cases with low-code automation tools such as Appian and UiPath
• Help monitor, report and track bugs in Jira, providing clear evidence and reproducible steps
• Take part in sprint planning and reviews to improve frontend test coverage

Required profile

• Detail-oriented, proactive and interested in UX, UI workflows and software reliability
• Familiar with basic testing concepts (manual testing, test automation, agile) and eager to learn low-code platforms
• Analytical, able to test beyond happy paths and explore edge cases
• Good communicator who documents findings clearly
• Currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field (preferred but not required)
