Full Stack Developer (Python, React)

About the role

European Dynamics is looking for a fluent English-speaking Full Stack developer to work remotely within the EU. The first assignment places the candidate in the Development team of a major European institution, which will work closely with a client's IT team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop tools that interact with social media platforms and support data collection workflows.
• Create user-friendly front-end interfaces for data annotation and analysis.
• Develop back-end APIs and services to store, manage and process data, integrating with analysis tools and pipelines.
• Write automation scripts in Bash and Python.
• Configure and maintain Linux systems for development and testing environments.
• Ensure scalability, security and performance through automation and monitoring, and provide technical support and maintenance.

Required profile

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, with at least 7 years of relevant IT experience.
• At least 3 years of full-stack web development experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in each of: front-end interfaces with modern frameworks (e.g. React), back-end APIs with Flask, database management (MySQL, MongoDB), Linux system administration, containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), agile development, Git, and project management tools (JIRA, Microsoft Project).
• Excellent command of English.

Certifications in web development, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), DevOps or similar are an asset. Remuneration is competitive, either on contract or with a full benefits package, based on qualifications and experience.
