Full Stack Software Engineer (Angular, Python, FastAPI)

About the role

NIQ Cadence is a compound AI operating system for marketing effectiveness that combines Marketing Mix Modeling, budget optimization and LLM agents. CadenceIO is its operator UI, used to load media data, run MMM models and publish results to brands. As a Full Stack Software Engineer you build CadenceIO features from the Angular screen to the Python API and help shape the team's front-end conventions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver each feature end to end: write the design, build the Angular screens and FastAPI endpoints, and deploy to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Build screens for large data sets such as multi-step wizards, editable tables, charts and live logs of model jobs.
• Implement Figma designs using the design system tokens and make every screen accessible to WCAG 2.1 AA.
• Set the front-end code structure, from folder layout to state in NgRx and Angular signals.
• Review the pull requests of other engineers and propose changes to the team's front-end conventions.
• Fix defects found by QA and operators, deciding whether each fix goes in the client or the API.
• Release features and hotfixes to production and adopt the team's software engineering and AI-assisted development principles.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development, mostly on the front end, with 3+ years of Angular.
• 2+ years of backend development in Python on APIs in production, with PostgreSQL and Alembic migrations.
• Experience building accessible UIs to WCAG 2.1 AA from Figma designs.
• Ability to explain technical decisions clearly to product engineers and designers.

Required skills

• TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx or Angular signals, REST APIs with request/response schemas, validation, error status codes and pagination.
• Data grids, charts and complex reactive forms.
• Unit tests and end-to-end tests with Playwright or Cypress.
• Docker and Kubernetes, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers or similar tools for LLM agents.
