Fullstack Developer – React & Node.js

About the role

Amaris Consulting is looking for a Fullstack Developer to join its Barcelona team. You will work in an international, agile squad building modern web platforms that serve thousands of users worldwide. The role combines frontend creativity with backend robustness to deliver end‑to‑end digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using ReactJS, JavaScript and HTML/CSS while applying UI/UX best practices.
• Build and evolve backend services with NodeJS, including the design and implementation of RESTful APIs.
• Integrate and manage databases, handling data modeling, queries and basic performance optimisation.
• Collaborate on API contracts between frontend and backend, ensuring clear specifications.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup and improvement for fast, reliable releases.
• Apply security, performance and maintainability standards across the full stack.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban) and work closely with product, design and other technical teams.
• Write technical documentation and perform code reviews to uphold quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, HTML and CSS.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and API design (RESTful).
• Experience with modern development tools such as Git and collaborative environments.
• Professional fluency in English for daily communication with international teams.
