L2 Platform Operations Engineer – MuleSoft

About the role

We are seeking a L2 Platform Operations Engineer specialized in MuleSoft to join our Madrid team. The role provides L2 operational support for MuleSoft platforms across AWS, Azure and OpenShift, ensuring platform stability and SLA compliance. This is a hybrid position with three days onsite and two days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and resolve L2 incidents within defined SLA windows.
• Perform platform troubleshooting, log analysis and root‑cause investigations.
• Support deployments, releases and configuration changes.
• Execute runbooks, recovery procedures and other operational tasks.
• Document incidents, resolutions and known workarounds.
• Maintain simple automation scripts and support Flex/Omni Gateway operations.
• Track actions to closure and participate in production support meetings, on‑call rotations and major incident handling.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience managing MuleSoft platforms and gateways.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical background.
• Fluent in English (C1) and Spanish.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and on‑call support environments.
