General Manager Associate - Spain

About the role

Alan is a prevention insurance company integrating insurance, prevention and care, with more than 1 million members and 40,000 partner companies. It is hiring a General Manager Associate for Spain, based in Barcelona or Madrid, to support the General Manager on top business priorities such as unlocking new growth, aligning on strategy and building new processes and standards. The role is highly involved in key challenges and covers almost any subject, with remote work flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Corporate and governance: board packs, market research, key meetings, Monthly Business Reviews
• Growth: marketing initiatives and partnerships
• Brand and communication: corporate brand at events, newsletters, social media
• Strategy: market and competition screening, business analyses, growth models
• Product: identifying and exploring strategic product opportunities
• Talent acquisition: sourcing and recruiting
• Team: organizing the Spanish off-site, kick-off and bonding events
• Recent examples: fundraising coordination, M&A due diligence, tender project management, annual reunion event organization, weekly internal communication and monthly business reviews

Required profile

• 3-7 years of experience in strategy, operations or consulting
• Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish; company communications are in English
• B1-C1 English level
