General Manager

About the role

Ichris Industries Limited is seeking a full‑time, on‑site General Manager to lead its flexographic printing facility in Port of Spain. You will be responsible for driving daily operations, meeting sales and production targets, and upholding quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor cross‑functional teams, ensuring high performance and collaboration.
• Coordinate the workflow from design concepts to finished labels, optimizing short‑run projects.
• Lead budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation activities.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Contribute to strategic planning, continuous improvement initiatives, and compliance with industry regulations.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and people‑management experience, including performance management and conflict resolution.
• Background in operations or production management, preferably within printing, packaging, or manufacturing.
• Strong business and financial acumen with data‑driven decision‑making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience using basic production or ERP systems.
