General Manager, Spain

About the role

Eucalyptus, the consumer healthcare platform behind Hims & Hers, is looking for its first senior hire on the ground in Spain. Spain is described as a major growth market, and the company runs it on a centralised model while leaving the General Manager responsible for building the product and operations that win the market. The role is based in Spain, most likely Barcelona, and reports to the international leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Define what makes Juniper win in Spain and what a great local customer experience looks like.
• Own retention, engagement and customer outcomes, from onboarding through to long-term loyalty.
• Improve the end-to-end customer journey, from consultation through to treatment.
• Build the local operating model, systems and processes needed to scale while keeping quality.
• Hire, develop and lead a small local team.
• Partner with central product, growth and clinical teams to localise the experience for Spanish consumers.
• Own local operational performance, service quality and unit economics.
• Build local partnerships, community presence and brand relevance.
• Act as the voice of the customer and market, influencing product and business decisions across the wider organisation.

Required profile

• Experience building and scaling something, typically in a high-growth consumer business such as mobility, marketplaces, food delivery or quick commerce, with responsibility for launching markets, building teams and delivering commercial results.
• Ability to turn what makes a business win into an operating model, customer experience and team.
• Combines strategic thinking with strong execution, comfortable in ambiguity and able to make decisions with imperfect information.
• Has led teams, cares about hiring great people and has experience building organisations as they scale.
• Commercially minded, understands unit economics and balances customer experience with sustainable growth.
• A builder who brings energy, ownership and a bias for action.
