Global Business Process Engineer

About the role

HP is hiring a Global Business Process Engineer in Sant Cugat del Valles within its Field & Channel business unit. The role covers designing new processes, diagnosing weaknesses in current ones and redesigning them so they are effective, scalable and aligned with business goals. It also requires a strong understanding of Supplier Management, since process decisions affect supplier operations, performance, contracts, cost and customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze existing processes, identify customer and business needs and propose solutions to optimize operations.
• Understand Field & Channel processes across markets and drive global process standardization and simplification.
• Partner with Supplier Management and Category teams on supplier-related impacts, including performance, SLAs/KPIs, contracts, cost, compliance and risk.
• Support supplier governance and continuous improvement by finding process gaps and defining corrective and preventive actions.
• Act as a communication bridge between market SPOCs, suppliers and cross-functional teams such as CCC, CC, Supply Chain, IST, Finance and Category.
• Work with Global BPEs and Digital Innovation teams on automation and digital solutions.
• Lead end-to-end global projects, setting up governance, stakeholder engagement, risk and change management approaches.
• Ensure processes supporting global guidelines are designed, documented, implemented and monitored, and assess their impact on suppliers.
• Define and monitor process performance indicators and supplier KPIs.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills and proven ability to solve complex business and operational problems.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and suppliers to adopt or adjust processes.
• Experience working with global and regional suppliers in a cross-functional environment is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint knowledge (a must).
• Business Process Management (BPM) knowledge and experience.
• Project management; PMP or equivalent is a plus.
• Management of Change, including the ADKAR model, is a plus.
• Supplier management knowledge, including supplier governance, performance management, SLA/KPI management and supplier contracts, is highly desirable.
