Global IT Process Owner – HRIS & Time Management

About the role

As the Global IT Process Owner for HRIS and Time Management systems, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of a worldwide HRIS landscape for BASF's Coatings division. You will act as the application manager and solution architect, ensuring the platform supports business goals while complying with legal and internal regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a global HRIS architecture with a focus on Time Management solutions.
• Serve as the application manager and solution architect for the HRIS portfolio.
• Collaborate closely with the European HR department to align IT solutions with HR policies.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and IT demands.
• Lead roll‑outs, project deliveries, and ongoing maintenance in partnership with technical implementation partners.
• Maintain knowledge of related systems such as HCM and Payroll.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field with an IT/HR focus.
• Solid understanding of HR IT landscapes and processes, preferably with ADP Workforce Management or SAP SuccessFactors Time Off.
• Proven project‑management experience in HR‑related IT projects.
• Several years of experience leading IT initiatives in an HR context.
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
• Analytical mindset and a collaborative approach.
