Global Medical Director, Electrophysiology & LAAC

About the role

Boston Scientific is seeking an experienced cardiac electrophysiologist to lead the global medical strategy for electrophysiology and left atrial appendage closure (LAAC) therapies. As a Global Medical Director, you will act as the clinical voice for physicians and patients, guiding products from development through real‑world use.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the medical expert and patient advocate across the product lifecycle for electrophysiology and LAAC therapies.
• Provide medical leadership on benefit‑risk assessments during product development, clinical studies, and post‑market activities.
• Collaborate with Clinical Research, Clinical Evidence, R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial teams worldwide.
• Support evidence generation, innovation, and patient safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Board‑certified cardiac electrophysiologist with extensive clinical experience.
• Proven physician leadership in a global or multi‑disciplinary environment.
• Ability to translate clinical insights into strategic guidance for product teams.
• Strong communication skills to represent physician and patient perspectives.
