Global Trade Payables Product Associate (SCIB)

About the role

The Global Trade Payables Product Associate will join Santander Corporate & Investment Banking's Trade & Working Capital team in Madrid. This role focuses on originating and structuring innovative trade payables solutions for global corporate clients, driving business growth and enhancing the bank's product offering.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and structure innovative Trade & Working Capital Solutions, including Payable Finance and Supply Chain Finance.
• Manage and grow the Trade Payables business wallet, identifying cross‑selling opportunities with existing and new clients.
• Lead origination efforts in core markets and industry segments, providing sales support and advanced product knowledge.
• Develop tailored financing solutions in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Contribute to the evolution of the bank’s Trade & Working Capital product offering by identifying growth opportunities.
• Generate and convert new business opportunities through strong commercial acumen and client insight.
• Work closely with middle office, risk, legal and PDM teams to ensure seamless execution and regulatory compliance.

Required profile
