Group Financial Controller (French Speaker)

About the role

Click&Boat is seeking a Group Financial Controller to oversee accounting, treasury, audits and corporate legal matters across its multi‑entity group, currently covering France and Spain with a new international subsidiary forthcoming.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and month‑end/annual close for Click&Boat and its subsidiaries, ensuring accurate trial balances and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Lead statutory and external audits, act as main contact for auditors and manage audit documentation and follow‑up.
• Manage corporate housekeeping, including general meetings, shareholder resolutions, statutory registers and incorporation of new entities.
• Handle treasury and banking relationships, cash forecasting, short‑term investments and payment processes.
• Coordinate tax compliance, VAT and corporate income tax filings, and liaise with tax advisors.
• Document financial processes, design internal controls and continuously improve data reliability.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of finance, accounting and audit experience, including 3‑5 years in a Big Four or recognized audit firm.
• Proven experience in an in‑house finance role such as Accounting Manager, Finance Manager or Financial Controller.
• Hands‑on experience with financial closings, audit coordination, treasury, banking and corporate legal matters.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Full professional proficiency in French and English.
