Head Chef de Partida – Hotel Ponent Beach

About the role

The Hotel Ponent Beach seeks a motivated Head Chef de Partida to lead the kitchen station, ensuring efficient preparation, high‑quality culinary output, and strict food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise the preparation of raw materials and supplies, assigning tasks for optimal workflow.
• Supervise and develop recipes based on menu cycles and best food‑handling practices.
• Direct and oversee assistants and cooks in the preparation of dishes.
• Manage cleaning, preservation and restocking of food items within the station.
• Ensure accurate record‑keeping and implementation of hygienic‑sanitary controls.
• Assist with receiving, storage and internal replenishment following established procedures.

Required profile

• Higher Vocational Training in Kitchen Management or Hospitality, or a degree in Tourism.
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar supervisory kitchen role.
• High level of English is desirable.
• Knowledge of office software and kitchen equipment.
• Strong sensory memory, creativity and manual dexterity.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team‑oriented with strong planning, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.

Required skills

• HACCP (food safety) knowledge.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
