Head of Digital Marketing (Global)

About the role

Sulzer is seeking a strategic and hands‑on Head of Digital Marketing to lead its global digital agenda from Madrid. You will own the entire digital ecosystem, drive demand generation, and embed a data‑driven culture across multiple business units and regions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a global digital marketing strategy aligned with business growth priorities, including full ownership of campaign execution.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives across channels, platforms, and customer journeys.
• Partner with commercial and product teams to align digital programs with sales objectives.
• Drive qualified pipeline through integrated campaigns (SEO/SEM, paid media, ABM, A/B testing, email, social).
• Own digital KPIs such as traffic, engagement, MQLs, SQLs, opportunities, pipeline contribution and ROIC.
• Oversee global website strategy, UX/UI, personalization and content performance.
• Manage and evolve the MarTech stack, including marketing automation and analytics tools.
• Build, lead and develop a global digital marketing team based in Madrid and collaborate with regional teams and external partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
• 10+ years of digital marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven success in B2B environments, preferably industrial or engineering sectors.
• Strong track record of demand generation, performance marketing and digital transformation.
