Head of HR - International

About the role

Rover is seeking a senior HR leader to shape and scale the people strategy for its international business outside the United States. Based in Barcelona, the Head of HR – International will partner with regional leaders and the global People team to build a high‑performing organization and support the next phase of global growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the people strategy for the international organization, ensuring alignment with global HR priorities and supporting continued growth.
• Build and scale the International People function, including evolving the HR organizational structure and developing a regional HR Business Partner team.
• Partner with senior leaders to design organizational structures, workforce plans, and talent strategies needed for significant business expansion.
• Serve as the senior HR advisor on organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience across the region.
• Integrate AI‑enabled technologies and evolving ways of working into organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies.

Required profile

• Proven senior HR leadership experience, preferably in fast‑growing, international technology companies.
• Track record of building and scaling HR functions and HRBP teams.
• Strong partnership skills with senior business leaders to drive organizational design and talent strategy.
• Ability to navigate complex employee matters and foster an inclusive, high‑performance culture.
• Experience with the adoption of AI‑enabled tools and modern ways of working.
