Head of Marketing – Retail Brand (Spain & Portugal)

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Marketing to lead brand strategy and growth for a fast‑expanding retail brand across Spain and Portugal. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the full marketing function and shape both long‑term brand equity and short‑term commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define brand positioning, identity and long‑term equity strategy for both markets.
• Oversee the complete marketing mix – digital, content, paid media, CRM, events and in‑store activation.
• Lead and develop the marketing team across Spain and Portugal.
• Design and execute growth strategies focused on acquisition, retention and lifetime value.
• Manage agencies and partners across creative, media and performance.
• Own the marketing budget and report performance to the executive team.
• Leverage market and consumer insights to guide product and commercial decisions.

Required profile

• 7+ years of marketing leadership experience, preferably in retail or premium consumer brands.
• Proven record of building brand awareness while delivering measurable commercial growth.
• Experience running multi‑market campaigns in Spain and Portugal.
• Strong analytical mindset comfortable with data, attribution and performance metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop high‑performing marketing teams.
• Fluent Spanish (native or near‑native); Portuguese is a strong advantage; professional English.
• Ability to balance creative vision with commercial discipline.
