Health & Safety Manager – Barcelona

About the role

We are looking for a Health & Safety Manager to join Glovo’s People team at our Barcelona headquarters. You will lead the development and implementation of health and safety strategies across Spain and support international initiatives, ensuring a strong safety culture in a fast‑growing delivery environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the Spanish and international Health & Safety team and drive KPI/OKR achievement.
• Lead H&S committees, manage external providers and represent the company with inspectors, unions and other stakeholders.
• Oversee documentation, records management and support labour inspections.
• Investigate occupational incidents, determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Design and deliver health‑safety training programmes and monitor completion rates.
• Manage health surveillance programmes in line with local regulations.
• Develop emergency plans, including evacuation procedures, and ensure compliance through standardized processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in occupational health and safety, preferably in a multi‑national or fast‑moving environment.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish health‑safety legislation and ability to interpret international regulations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to lead teams, influence culture and drive continuous improvement.
