Hotel Receptionist – Bilbao Nervión

About the role

Barcelo Hotel Group is looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist to join the team at its Bilbao Nervión property. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, welcoming guests and handling departures.
• Provide in‑person and telephone customer service throughout the stay.
• Perform concierge duties, including luggage storage and guest assistance.
• Review and verify reservations, ensuring accuracy.
• Conduct night‑audit tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by the Reception Manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, a Master in Marketing or a related field, with specific training in tourism quality.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service and quality assurance within the hotel sector.
• High level of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of office software, hospitality operations, CRM systems and ISO standards is valued.
