Hotel Receptionist – Front Desk

About the role

Join the Barceló Hotel Group as a Receptionist at the Barcelo Santiago property in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth check‑in and check‑out experience while representing the brand’s high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process all documentation required for guest check‑in and check‑out.
• Maintain the cleanliness, order, and presentation of the reception area and its furnishings.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and manage external communications.
• Perform currency exchange services for guests.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and dining areas to fulfill guest requests.
• Provide guests with information, address inquiries, and resolve complaints promptly.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in Hospitality and Tourism (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio).
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar front‑desk role.
• High proficiency in English; additional language is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of office software and reservation systems.
• Strong adaptability, teamwork orientation, customer focus, communication abilities, and problem‑solving skills.
