Hotel Receptionist – Playa de Palma

About the role

Join the Barceló Group as a Receptionist at the Occidental Hotel in Playa de Palma. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all front‑desk operations, including check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Provide personal and telephone customer service throughout the guest stay.
• Perform concierge duties and handle luggage storage.
• Review and verify reservations.
• Conduct night‑audit tasks.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by the reception manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, a Master’s in Marketing or a related field, with specific training in tourism quality.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service and quality assurance within the hotel sector.
• High proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets).
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Knowledge of ISO standards relevant to hospitality.
