HR Business Partner – Getafe (HRBP) role

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a motivated HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join its Getafe site. You will translate business needs into HR solutions, support performance optimisation and collaborate on strategic HR projects in a global aerospace environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with a specific business unit to deliver, manage and optimise HR services.
• Advise managers on people‑related matters, ensuring compliance with HR policies, ethics, and Spanish labour law.
• Drive execution of HR plans, analyse HR metrics and produce reports for decision‑making.
• Ensure consistent implementation of compensation, benefits, training and recruitment policies.
• Support employee development and manage performance‑related actions when required.
• Collaborate with the wider HRBP team on division‑wide improvement initiatives and projects.
• Prepare data and materials for talent reviews, compensation campaigns and workforce planning.
• Observe and support local union commissions and labour‑relations topics to build collective‑bargaining knowledge.

Required profile

• University degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Approximately 2 years of experience in HR generalist functions, recruitment or HR administration.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish (negotiation level).
• Strong communication, customer‑service and interpersonal skills.
• Solution‑oriented, flexible and proactive attitude.

• Excel for data analysis and HR reporting.
