HR Business Partner

About the role

Alcazar Energy is looking for an HR Business Partner based in Madrid to act as the HR focal point for its DOM team. The role advises senior management on all people matters, manages the employee lifecycle and supports the delivery of the business plan, reporting to the Head of HR.

Key responsibilities

• Support the annual operational business plans and KPIs for the DOM team and contribute to performance monitoring and reporting.
• Advise DOM senior management on the people agenda and all HR-related activities and projects, in line with Alcazar HQ.
• Communicate HR policies, frameworks and process changes to employees and act as a focal point for compliance issues, conflicts and grievances.
• Implement HR services, programs and frameworks in line with Alcazar's HR strategy and guidelines.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, from joining and training through engagement, reward, performance management to exit.
• Contribute to recommending and monitoring the unit budget year-long.
• Manage HR governance, policies and relationships with Alcazar HQ, and escalate HR and people risks to the Global Head of HR.

Required profile

• Master's degree or professional qualification from an internationally recognised institution, or a Bachelor's degree 2:1 or above.
• 8+ years of experience in mid to senior HR management or HR consulting roles in a multinational, preferably in Spain, in organisational development, HR planning, HR business partnership or talent management.
• Knowledge of Spanish labour and employment law, applied to day-to-day HR decisions and employee relations.
• Knowledge of labour law in Spain, Egypt, Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro, and any future areas of business.
• Ability to travel for business reasonably frequently.
