Principal Digital OCM Lead

About the role

Roche is hiring a Principal Digital OCM Lead in its Pharma Technical Operations (PT) business, based in Madrid. The role sits in the internal advisory and delivery team of PT Digital and Operational Excellence and acts as an internal Behavioral OCM leader, shaping human-centric change strategies for digital and data initiatives such as digital site transformations, data foundations, network automation and agile mindsets.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with PTE leadership to embed Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategies for large-scale operations-wide transformations, post-merger integrations, digital shifts and process restructurings.
• Apply behavioral science frameworks (e.g. nudge management) to align workforce mindsets with strategic change, data-driven culture and psychological safety.
• Design, drive and scale change management frameworks for major PT digital initiatives such as global data governance, smart factory/Industry 4.0 rollouts and digital shopfloor tools.
• Act as a trusted advisor to site leaders, global process owners, shopfloor operators and quality teams, building change networks and sponsorship across the PT matrix.
• Conduct change impact analyses, risk evaluations and readiness assessments, using quantitative data and behavioral analytics to measure adoption velocity and identify barriers.
• Build tailored communication architectures and learning strategies that turn complex data and digital solutions into clear adoption journeys.
• Define and standardize human-centric OCM methodologies, blueprints and training assets across the global network.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted tools, shopfloor automation and operations-wide data models.

Required profile

• University degree (Master's or equivalent) in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Information Systems, Engineering, Life Sciences or a related field.
• 10+ years driving organizational change management, digital transformation or business adoption, ideally in pharmaceutical operations, manufacturing, biotech or healthcare IT, with proven support of large-scale, multi-site rollouts.
• Solid grasp of operational dynamics in technical, regulated environments, including change in validated settings without compromising GxP quality standards.
• Experience coaching managers and local leadership teams in behavioral management techniques.
• Business-fluent English; Spanish is a strong asset given the Madrid location.

Required skills

• Change management frameworks such as Prosci, ADKAR and Kotter, plus Agile, Lean or Design Thinking.
• Digital adoption platforms such as WalkMe or Pendo, or product analytics.
• Application of behavioral science principles such as behavioral economics, nudge theory and habit formation loops.
