HR Director, Continental Europe

About the role

Greystar is seeking a senior People & Culture business partner to lead HR strategy across Continental Europe, covering Spain, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Denmark. Reporting to senior leadership, the HR Director will shape and deliver people initiatives that support the company’s expansion and operational stability while embedding Greystar’s culture and values.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement People & Culture strategies aligned with European growth objectives.
• Advise senior leaders on talent management, learning, organisational design, engagement, performance and reward.
• Lead, coach and develop the regional People & Culture team to meet business goals.
• Contribute to business planning, budgeting and project recommendations.
• Track and report HR KPIs, driving continuous improvement and employee engagement.
• Promote DEI initiatives and tailor focus areas for specific countries or business lines.
• Manage complex employee relations, including TUPE, collective bargaining and escalations.
• Oversee HR aspects of acquisitions, divestments, integrations and market entry projects.

Required profile

• Senior HR leader with proven experience partnering with executive teams.
• Strong track record in developing and executing People & Culture strategies across multiple European markets.
• Ability to coach and influence senior leaders on people‑related decisions.
• Experience managing HR teams and driving performance against objectives.
• Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, DEI, and change management.
