Human Resources Generalist

About the role

We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our dynamic aviation team in Barcelona. You will act as a trusted partner to managers, helping them navigate employee matters while ensuring compliance with Spanish labour law.

Key responsibilities

• Guide managers through performance issues, disciplinary actions, absences, conflicts, grievances and other sensitive situations.
• Support performance management, employee development, team‑related people topics and engagement initiatives.
• Ensure HR processes comply with Spanish labour law, internal policies and documentation standards.
• Manage core HR administration: contracts, amendments, onboarding, off‑boarding, employee records, working time, holidays, benefits and internal documentation.
• Coordinate payroll information, maintain accurate employee data, prepare reports and keep records audit‑ready.
• Assist managers with hiring needs and provide coordination support for recruitment activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Labour Relations, Human Resources or a related field with strong labour‑law content.
• Solid understanding of Spanish labour law and employment compliance.
• Previous experience in an HR Generalist, People Manager, HR Operations or Employee Relations role.
• Proven ability to build trust, communicate clearly and advise stakeholders.
• Independent, ownership‑driven and capable of handling day‑to‑day HR matters in a structured way.
• Strong judgment, practical approach and ability to balance compliance with business needs.
• Good command of English for professional use.
